What the club says: The Levante is a US-style golf course spread out over an area of more than 80 hectares. In classic Nicklaus tradition, it features wide fairways and mounded, rolling, yet inviting putting surfaces. Stretching to more than 7,200 yards, it is a bit of a monster and offers stunning views of the Mediterranean and the Finestrat Mountains.
The 18 hole, par 62 Poniente Course, reaches to 4,219 yards and offers a gently alternative to its sister layout. Set in a picturesque valley of Mediterranean pine and broad views, it is perfect for all levels of golfer and would be a great place for beginners to hone their newly acquired skills.

Greens.........
Played here first week in February, course looked in good condition for the time of year. Tee to green was as expected with the bunkers being filled with grit rather than sand making a good shot very haphazard. Once on the the greens though we were very disappointed. Very very hard and unreceptive, all most like glass.Reviewer Rating

Golf holiday
Good clubhouse staff very polite and very helpful the course is very good a lot of bunkers in fact there’s loads the greens are fast n true there was a lot of pitch marks what had not been repaired play was slow it took 5 hours to get round which is far to long they should do something about it but all in all we had a good day(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 85 Handicap: 8.1)

Levante is the main course, unfortunately we played it in a howling gale but still an interesting/demanding layout. Long walk but buggies cart path only which they fail to tell you in advance. Very slow, good views, get your entry ticket validated by the pro shop or you can't get out. Unfriendly pro shop reception when we visited but nice starter made up for it. Good condition overall.

Party of 4 played here on a 5 day trip, this was one of the most expensive courses we played but well worth it, course was fantastic condition even for the time of year, buggy selling refreshments coming around made it even better. We liked it so much we came back the next day and played the par 3 course and for a par 3 course this was also in the same high level standard condition. If you have time play them both. But a definite course to add to the list.

A beautiful course and great scenery looking towards the hills and down on Benidorm. The second cut could have been a little shorter but the greens were very good. Accurate signage meant you could not stray plus a great view from the clubhouse.

Played the Levante championship course twice & the Poniente small course once....the championship course is great challenge to say the least.... we played our first round in 70 mph gusts..& barely broke into the twenties...plenty of bunkers with not much sand in them took me some time to realise that a sand iron was useless kept thinning the ball...use the wedge & they came out every time...very fast greens don't get above the hole or your certain to three putt...you can blast your way round with the driver but you WILL end up in a lot of bunkers...plan your way round without a head full of beer the night before... an you have half a chance of breaking parr.
There is a booking system but four balls go off every seven minuets so at peak times there are back logs on the first tee & some parr threes.
