Nice, but preferred the South course. The course Marshall's can be quite annoying if you don't go round quick enough and the nearest pin hawker can spoil your concentration.

Prepare to walk
The course is suppose to be the premium course at Quinta do Lago but it feels a little disjointed as you can easily loose your way around with some long walks between greens and tees crossing roads etc;(Round played: Nov 2018 - Score: 93 Handicap: 11.3)

It absolutely threw it down with rain but the course drained well and still held its own. Well worth a visit although they are rebuilding it from 2014-2015.

This is the worst of the 3 Quinta do Largo courses and, although similar to the South course it's not a patch on that one. Club house OK although there is quite a bit of traffic through at this time of year.

Not a bad course with very little rough. Bunkers are located in strategic places for the low ad high handicapper. The greens are expansive and very fast.
The facilties aren't too great with a reception and drinks machine... thats it.
A buggy will cost you 50 euros but it does have GPS. A power buggy will cost 20 euros. Better to go for the buggy as it was sore on the feet walking.
The most annoying part was the way you were hurried along by the marshalls.
Best scenic hole for me was the 12th with the water.
Still unsure if I would play this again.

Course recovering from recent work so not in the best of conditions, fairways are a bit bumpy but generally OK. Very different to the South, a cart is a must have as there is a lot of walking between tees otherwise. Pace of play great, think in Sept/Oct it will be back to full strength (im being unfair comparing it to South here)

Since upgraded by Paul McGinley a few years ago, it has become a very strong course with well-protected greens and tricky humps and hollows on them . Mid-handicappers get two extra strokes for this course, which tells its own story. Although there are some long walks between greens and tees, it is a very enjoyable course to play, with some interesting anomalies on the card - the 18th is still called a par 5, but only a strong 430 yards, because it was shortened in the process.

Lovely but hilly course
Springwater is the most welcoming of country golf courses. It is very good value for money ,and is in good condition.Reviewer Rating

Remodelled by Paul McGinley a few years ago to be tournamennt ready, so greens are very tricky. Some long walks between holes, but overall very enjoyable. Beware 3rd (par 3 over water) and 12th (2nd shot to green all over water)

Great course

Very good

Course ok but...
The buggy system is a disgrace most of the fairways you cannot take the buggy on, however there is no indication of this until the buggy cuts out and you have to reverse off the fairway. This was exceptionally frustrating. The greens had been peppered by people not repairing their pitchmarks, so although ran at a good pace was rare to get a true line. I am hopeful it will improve when the South course opens and there is less traffic and time for the North course to recover / be repaired.(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 96 Handicap: 21.4)
