What The Club Says
Laid out over low-lying coastal terrain, this course, with its many water hazards and few trees, is considerably different from the other ones at the resort and many of its holes convey a links atmosphere.
U.S. golf architect Joseph Lee designed this course which was opened in 1990 and many previous visitors will recognise it as part of the former 27-hole Vilamoura III course. It has been subject to continual improvements over the years.

Laguna Not in great condition
Tee boxes, greens and bunkers were in good shape. Fairways were very poor as they are try out a new grass. Putting green also very poor. Would avoid until fairways improveReviewer Rating

Generally the course is pretty good but the greens are in terrible shape. The course was refurbished in 2022 and the greens have yet to recover - apparently the grass hibernates and is yet to emerge from its slumbersReviewer Rating
