Enjoyed our round here as always, despite an hour of torrential rain. Greens in good nick despite recently hollow-tined and the rain. Other than not being able to see any 150 markers on a couple of holes, its hard to fault.
Full price for visitors is a little beyond my ceiling, but for Teeofftimes offers it is absolutely bang on.

The course is in open parkland with a few hilly places and a good challenge for all golfers. The course was in good condition both fairways and greens. The clubhouse is across the road from the first tee and the staff give you a good welcome, this is a well established old club.

Excellent course, great mixture of holes. Not particularly long but you need to be accurate. Greens were superb, fast and true, in fact the whole course was immaculate. Deathly quiet though for a midday start on a Sunday - saw 4 members in the clubhouse before we started and maybe the same on the course. Strange. Well worth a round if you can find it!Reviewer Rating

The course has recovered from the recent very heavy rainfall. The staff were very welcoming. Fairways a little soggy in places.Greens were quick and true.

Course is hidden away and offers a tough test in lovely surroundings.\Staff and members were welcoming and friendly.\There are a number of tough 400 yard plus holes,which are uphill and really not reachable in 2 for medium handicappers.\

Beautiful traditional wooded parkland course in excellent condition. Everybody very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend anybody in the area to visit.

coarse played great.few temp greens and the open greens had work done,top dressing etc.so putting was a struggle if not hit close.really looking forward to playing again when everything as settled down.enjoyed!!

Tough course especially for a beginner like myself and my wife. We had a very warm welcome from the staff in the pro shop and members we met around the course. Next time we are in the area we will look to play again.

Played in the evening (6pm) so light was fading towards the end of the round, course in great condition. Friendly staff, very enjoyable visit
