hillies is a decent 9 holes corse, and as the name suggests its hillies, was quite wet when i went and dont look to cope with water too well but we had had a lot of rain to be fair, staff quite friendly when booking tee off time and on arrival and ground staff also ok, locals bit grumpy but after all we dont all play on the pga tour, good place to learn at a decnt price, bar and other facilities were not used so i cant comment on that but me and the group enjoyed our round and will definately play there again

I live a few miles from this course and being 9 holes, as I am a shift worker during the week you can get round in about 1hr 30mins to 1hr 40 mins its usually very busy in summer and weekends but great value for money and very well kept. I will have played here over 20 times over the last 6 months and possibly lost a dozen balls because it's a tight course and you can get out of bounds easily.

Very good small nine hole course built on and across a big hillside, very well kept and very low cost per round. the fairways are fairly narrow. due to the layout you need to manage the course and use your short irons.

Not bad, getting better, boggy in places. Better now the holes have changed order also.

decent 9 holes if your pushed for time, kept in good condition generally.
it's not called hillies for nothing, by the time you've carried your full bag around you'll know it.
in the school holidays i've known it to have too many kids on.
not really used the facilities much myself, so it would be unfair of me to comment.

Can't grumble for £6. Some tricky par 3s and worth going just to keep the swing going, especially if you're struggling for time. Competent golfers will get frustrated with the hackers and the call of "fore".

Course is a relatively easy 9 hole municipal with no par 5's. Most holes are forgiving for the higher handicapper. Drainage used to be a problem but work over the winter appears to have made significant improvements.

As a member of Waterfront, another 9 hole track nearby, I can say hand on heart that this is an easy track. The only real difficulty can be the small elevated greens. It is in reasonable condition given the dryness of summer.

A relatively short track which is also relatively easy, with the exception of the 7th.
Greens are "interesting", bit like putting on a shagpile carpet! Fairways are also a bit bare in places.
