Amazing location

Windermere GC
Very challenging course, excellent condition, pro shop and all staff very friendly indeed. Will definitely return for another round of golf.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 98 Handicap: 25.5)

Played here a few times and one of my all time favourites. Great layout in great condition. Stunning views and good fun. Friendly staff and a lovely clubhouse

Love this course, spectacular views all around. Not the longest track for sure, but tricky, need to plot your way around, enough holes to wreck a good scorecard. A few blind holes, longish par 3s. Plenty of heather and bracken to stay away from. A few water hazards, no bunkers though. It's a good walk around, up and down quite a bit but worth it for the views. Track was a bit wet when I played but still in great nick. Greens been tined but still had nice roll and quite quick. Friendly welcome in clubhouse, good food. Will be returning for sure

Although extremely short, Windermere is very testing. The driver won't come out of the bag very often around this course as you must be accurate. There are a few blind approach shots that can cause problems for some golfers but once you've played the course once and got a feel for it, these shouldn't be a problem. To add, there are some incredible views to behold throughout at the golf course.Reviewer Rating
