awful
Played a few times over the years and up to this last year, has always been just about OK. However, it really has fallen by the wayside with the introduction of Footgolf (never seen anyone actually playing it!) There seems to be absolutely no interest in golf from the owners (The jockey club) ans is now being run by the racecourse manager (of Exeter racecourse actually!) who has absolutely no idea whatsoever on running a golf course. not a friendly place at all and one that I will not be returning to.Reviewer Rating

This was once a very decent flat but long 9 hole course in the middle of the racecourse, with excellent greens. Now sadly, it is truely awful, they havn't even got a greenkeeper at tthe moment. Uncut rough just off the fairways, and greens that you need a driver to get to the hole!
All whom I met mentioned hopeless management and were not goining to re-join.....sadly, unless someone gets in there, changes the management and those running the place, it won't be around much longer

Once a lovely albeit, flat and very playable course. Played in May/June 2014 and is now in terrible condition, where balls are lost if not on the fairway. Biunkers unkempt, tees awful, the only respite are the greens which are still as good........not a lot of point though if you lose a couple of balls to get there. Someone needs to get a grip here soon, or the 70 odd remaining members will drift away them selves
