Course was in fairly good order generally, however, bunkers needed some attention as they were rock hard with next to no depth of loose sand and the greens needed rolling as putts were jumping about rather than rolling, probably due to a lot of feet having traversed them when slightly spongy.

Course is holding up really well for winter. Some tee’s are off elevated Astro turf platforms and can be a little slippy with soft spikes. Low round pricing is what keeps us coming back.

Please Cut The Greens
We visit the course once or twice each year and always enjoy it. The clubhouse is unpretentious and the course is flat and a reasonable challenge, without being too difficult. My one criticism is the greens are usually quite long and slow. Please cut your greens a little shorter/more often and the course would definitely be one of my favourites.Reviewer Rating

Good day,nice course
Started the day with a good breakfast in the clubhouse, followed by a good days golf, I personally found the greens a bit wooly but they were consistant so you cant ask for better than that. I then went into the friendly clubhouse for a cool drink where I was met by the friendly staff.Reviewer Rating

Take a dozen balls!
Played Wheathill as a visitor in June, and can truly say it was one of my worst experiences ever on a golf course. Balls bounced just everywhere and the rough just off the fairway was horrendous, it appears not to have been cut at all this year. Friendly course, not too challenging

Just what the club says about the course - not long - wonderful for seniors - excellent service in the pro shop - and somewhat of a test for club golfers - enjoyable as it is not hilly like some of its neighbours.
