What The Club Says
Formed in 1894, golfers have been enjoying the peaceful and beautiful location on the Dorset/Somerset border for over a hundred years. Part of the original course was designed by James Braid, but it has been continually improved and extended over the years.

the course was in great condition with interesting contoured greens.very good practice facilities
food and service was excellent, best bacon roll this season.
will book again for next year.

A Friendly Challenge
Really loved the friendly team at Sherborne who set us up for a really good fun round of golf.A little local knowledge would go a long way on some holes but a proper challenge and with greens in excellent condition.

Nice track
Played the course in June. Nice start, first four holes are good but nothing to write home about and then it just gets better and better. Played with my son in law to be and both of us thought the course was great. Par three's are very challenging. The locals all seemed friendly, nice pint, great day. We will returnReviewer Rating

A challenging, attractive course that needs to be played twice - the second time to place the ball more sensibly!Bar staff are very friendly and accommodating.
