ExcellentExcellent course condition, greens like carpets and very true but still tricky.
(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 93 Handicap: 21.7)
Great course better after changesThe improvements made to the course are absolutely brilliant what a contrast to the old front 9 great changes and definitely will be coming back to play again soon.

Fantastic course worth visitingVery good golf course.
Challenging but fair
Great CourseGreat customer challenge and layout, new nine hole addition coming at the end of summer 2020.
Definitely worth a visit

Good challenging courseA good challenging course with every hole giving you something to think about. Well designed. Some of the green on the back nine were a bit bobbly but it's early season ..

The front 9 is spectacularIn my mind the best club in the area but everyone has their own opinions.
The new front 9 are particularly well thought out and offer a superb challenge with 360 degree views across the countryside.
It is a 27 hole course but the original front 9 are currently being reconstructed to bring them up to the same level as the current front 9 in use at the moment.
The condition in the winter of 2017 was disappointing as the holes were perhaps opened a little prematurely but the extra year has seen the course flourish.
par 71 at present but if the wind is blowing it can play long and there are plenty of strategically placed bunkers and water hazards to contend with.
I have played the course a lot and would recommend to anyone. it is relatively inexpensive and has a laid back feel on the course and in the club house.

Great course come a memberChallenging course
Course in great condition.Greens good and true, and whole course in very good condition. Bunkers have proper sand, unlike other local courses.
Great CoursePlayed this on reciprical with North Oxford. Would def return and look forward to trying the second new 9 as was really impressed with the new front 9. Also staff very friendly and good facilities.
We played for the 1st time today: the front 9 is being moved around so the holes are in 'transition', but they haven't even bothered to print temporary score cards following the current layout.
The greens were apalling. ..every one of them. I completely understand that ALL courses have to be maintained, but to tell us 'they had just been treated with sand' and take £2 off was a mickey take when we realised the greens had all been aerated so in a mess. Most were also extremely patchy.
£29?? We could have played at Pine Ridge for less.....Until the greens recover in a couple of weeks it's not worth the fees. Sorry chaps.
That said: it's good to see significant investment into adding an entire new section and once the summer comes round I'm sure this is lovely to play.
Played 101....with at least 8 wasted putts due to the greens :-)
