Played here a couple of times with a member (wouldn't want to pay full prices). Very nice course with some very challenging holes and in nice surroundings.

A "must play" course, even at the full price of £40 per round - if you can get it cheaper - go for it; you won't regret it!!
It's quite hilly, so take your time and buy a yardage book!
The Clubhouse is a bit of a rabbit warren, being an old Country House, but it's a real gem!

Picturesque well matured course, a combination of short position placement holes and longer more challenging ones. very well maintained. Worth a visit but just a little over priced.

really nice course in good condition. Greens good and running well, lots of subtle turns and borrows. Bunkers good. Food, service and club house good. Played as part of a society.

One of my favourite courses (it has a grade 1 listed Clubhouse, and the putting green is part of a very formal garden with statues). I try to play it a couple of times each year, and it never disappoints. Great layout with quite a few memorable holes. Tees, fairways, bunkers and greens all in first class order. Played in the Autumn Senior Open (they also have one in March), at a cost of £30 including bacon roll before, choice of 3 meals afterwards and (at least 9) prizes. I believe the standard price is £40.

Nice course , the dress code is very formal , no sports socks if your wearing shorts ,
