This is a course I have played several times. Never failed to enjoy a round on this rather tight and challenging course. The greens are great as are the bunkers but BEWARE THE GORSE BUSHES.
Only a very small negative, don't turn up in any bright colours. I was asked to remove what I considered to be a very understated Blue Adidas Rain Jacket because the stripes were of a orange colour. The guy in the club shop was insistent that this sort of attire would upset the members and that unless I had another top then I would not be allowed in the course.

play breakfast golf great value for money. £17 with bacon roll whe you arive, and a full englisg breakfast when you finsh yum yum

This is a heathland golf course, near Woodbridge in Suffolk. Although not a long course, it represents an excellent challenge, due to its tight fairways and many gorse bushes. The greens are among the best anywhere in East Anglia. There is a well-stocked professional shop, the bar staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is very good.

Course Played well considering recent weather. All temporary Tee Boxes but only one Temperary Green

Challenging course. Plenty of scrub which you'll lose shots playing in too though

played 3rd March course in good condition.only 3 temps.Trolleys and buggies allowed,not many course allow that, and some other local ones were closed.

Good course, parkland but with gorse, very windy when we played added a level of challenge! On a charity day and food afterwards was very good

Could do better
This could be (and looks like it was) a lovely course. Reviews say it has been closed for refurb the last year, however I would say closed due to selling or bankruptcy & left to degrade. Two holes closed, pro shop non existent, fairways OK, greens like cricket Square. If given a lot of tlc then would be a great course. Having said all that, I played a blinder so course didn't affect my play & was fine for my ability.Reviewer Rating
