Disappointing
Booked at short notice which was good but pro shop failed to mention would be behind a society group which are notorious for being slow. Spent lots of time waiting on tee boxes waiting for group in front to clear. A few dead animals on course so groundsmen need to check more often. After play had to check in with NHS app which was good and good to find a table where we would get served. After 15 minutes and despite staff keep looking at us knowing we hadn't been served they seemed more interested in passing out condiment sachets to the society as they were more interested in keeping them happy to get their tip. With this hour up and left as was obvious we weren't going to get served imminently.Reviewer Rating

This course is not only short but very poor greens and slow to many blind shots with no idea which direction the green is even after second shot highly recomend a miss I would not play there again

this course is poorly set up blind shots all the time poor signage between green and tee and greens that are so slow you need to putt with a driver!! give it a miss. positive side staff nice

Very hilly course wasn't helped by obvious regulars moaning that due to us being a three ball we was holding up play when we was keeping up with the group infront of us, very rude and uncalled for would not recommend and would not pplay again not worth playing if the buggies are not allowed out

Was once a fantastic course
Nothing to gain from being a member anymore as all visitors are now allowed to book a week in advance so tuff to play this course and this now has made the pace very slow,, this course was very well kept before Covid since golfer been allowed back over a year ago now this course conditions are very poor. Greens all blotchy and dead. Bunkers never in good condition and rough never cut below ankle hight even just of the fairways. Which also courses slow play searching each time for a ball that should be found. Pro shop staff are always friendly food amazing. But seems ther letting the golfers down with conditions. For bout 3 months now the 3rd & 4th hole on 18 have been temporary green wich is unplayable yet no consideration on green fee's being lowered. THIS WAS MY GO TO CLUB AND SEEMS A MASSIVE SHAME ITS BECOMING A UNWANTED COURSE NOW ????????????Reviewer Rating

I wasn't expecting much from this course and for the first few holes things are quite ordinary. However when it comes to the later holes there are some truly tough holes and worth coming back for. You have to hit long and far to stand any chance of paring many holes. I was expecting a fairly flat course but there are many steep fairways, drops and blind dog legs which you have to love. I do have to comment on the layout of holes, they are not logical and the signage is truly appalling. I was lost at least 3 times; you keep guessing where the 14th hole is! Some of the course is cut up and not looking the best it could be. However do give this course a try at least once.
