Unforgivable gem
Great course only low rated because next to secondary school and sometimes missing the odd rake but trust me it's a lot more difficult than the lochgreen which the golden bear played as open qualifier once . I love it and it can destroy your round with there 6 s and lost balls. This course is part of south ayrshire 8 season ticket and along with lochgreen ,belisle and front 9 of dalmilling and goran are best municipal courses anywhere(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 81 Handicap: 10.5)

Great course but extremely tough
Great course and an outstanding challenge but requires a higher skill level. Course was in very good condition and greens where running very well(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 101 Handicap: 24.1)

Best of the Troon Municipal Courses
The longest of the three municipal courses in Troon but, in my opinion, the best one to play.(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 99 Handicap: 21.2)

Scruffy
You get what you pay for, cheap for a links but quite a lot of litter and cigarette ends in the bunkers. Nice layout but felt unloved.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 106 Handicap: 31.5)

OK
Nice links layout at a fair price but the condition is very much that of a municiple course with quite a bit of litter, bare tees and a general scruffy feel. You get what you pay for.(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 93 Handicap: 18.9)

Challenging
Darley is a good quality layout with challenging holes. The greens were in good condition and the fairways firm despite recent heavy rain. My favourite hole is the par 4 fifth. A beauty!(Round played: Oct 2017 - Score: 95 Handicap: 19)

Great challenge
Lovely course, great fairways and greens with a lovely new clubhouse. Can be challenging when the wind gets up.(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 82 Handicap: 15.8)
