Disappointed
Played today was disappointed. Course drainage was not the greatest but given the weather this could be overlooked. Nice glossy website and the little of the club house I saw looked welcoming -shame it was closed at 4pm when I finished my round despite advertising it was open. Was looking forward to relaxing in the welcoming bar with a nice pint but ...... The course was in good condition despite of the weather but overall it gives the impression that Thornton Golf Club is not open to visitors.Reviewer Rating

never played before
Thornton's first 6 holes are back and forth and all pretty close to each other but after that the course opens out and is pretty nice to play - the last 4-5 hug the boundary of the course with water, rough and out of bounds dominating but nice challenging holes(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 84 Handicap: 12.6)

Nice Course
This is a nice course ,bit up one way then back down again , very tree bound so if your wayward which I am it does help with your score ( i lost a few balls with wayward drives), I really enjoyed the back nine as a better Variety of holes,Reviewer Rating
