Must play
Championship style course, quite long, excellent fairways and greens.Bunkers a plenty and a few water hazards but a fair challenge.
Nice clubhouse with welcoming staff.

First time back for a long time. After a week of very poor weather I wasn't expecting much from any golf course, but this was immaculate, very dry, very tidy and great grass coverage everywhere. Full course played all year round too. Wanting a quick, cheap and enjoyable round, it's worth a visit!

The last couple of times I played here(last year) it was in poor condition and was 50/50 about playing here again BUT im so glad I did ,for the time of year the course was probably in the best shape ive ever seen it,The greens were very consistent and in good condition.

This is a very good course for the thinking golfer. Not a long course but one that when you walk off you can look back and say "I played without having to hit every shot as hard as I can, that course needed a little finesse". Yes the greens are not billiard tables but for a mixed society group the course is a great leveller. The facilities look a little dated but the welcome from the Pro and staff were great, we will be returning to this little imp of a course.

We played this course whilst passing, what a gem. Really nice welcome, the course keeps you interested, island green 18th. good bar food.

A lovely short course, most holes a driver and short iron. The fairways are quite tight so hitting the it is a must. Plenty of sand and ditches to keep you thinking about the next shot. One of the best value for money course in this area only £11 for 18 holes.

Tricky but enjoyable
The terrain is flat but the course is tricky with frequent dog legs and very few opportunities to use a driver. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition. Bunkers were often unraked sadly.Reviewer Rating

Challenging even though on paper it looks short
Some great looking holes. The scorecard yardage would suggest this is easier than it is. Tree lined fairways on most holes. The only negative is the greens were very slow. If this course could get the greens faster then this would put the icing on the cake for this great course.(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 100 Handicap: 30.3)

Course in good condition, had a problem last time I played as the course was recovering from flooding.bunkers. Unfortunately the bar wasn't open due to covid 19. Would definitely recommend this course.

Nice afternoon game
Played 11 holes after work one afternoon, the conditions were very hot, so can understand the firmness of some of the greens, I?d say the fairways are in really good condition, some of the greens are browned but it's been dry. Even though it's a short course it can be tight, so it can be challenging in places, some great island green holes and some quirky holes, worth the trip to play as it is an enjoyable track.Reviewer Rating

Great little course
Played on 19/5 and the course is in very good condition, well maintained, and for ?10 (twilight from 2pm) excellent value for money. Maybe not challenging enough for lower handicap players as the course is a little short, but well worth a look for higher handicap/ novice players.Reviewer Rating

Friendly Course
Quite a short course but a tough challenge. Some really tight holes. Left the driver in the bag and made sure of a 3/5 wood into the fairways. Fairways and greens in good condition.The course was very quiet when I played, but the guy in the pro shop was very welcoming and the people that WERE playing were extremely friendly.
