What The Club Says
World renowned golf course architect Rees Jones has successfully blended 18 strategically contoured holes into the surrounding countryside.
A relative rarity in Britain, the course has been designed in a modern American parkland style, and specifically as a potential venue for international golf tournaments.

Fantastic course worth visiting
Had a great stay at Oxfordshire on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast deal including a round of golf. The golf course held up really well considering the amount of rain we've had recently. The course was challenging and very well maintained.Reviewer Rating

Stunning Views
Beautifully laid out. Greens superb, smooth and true. Also sprayed to make them stand out.Great for time of year. 40 of us well catered for despite them not having had the required delivery that day.

Golf Society Visit
Splendid accommodation with surprisingly good food although drinks on the pricey side. Staff helpful and attentive. Excellent changing and showering facilities - towels etc provided. No buggy access to car park somewhat inconvenient. Course challenging with many bunkers and water hazards and made more difficult by strong winds and rain during our 2 day visit. In reasonable condition despite recent dry weather.Reviewer Rating

Poor condition for the money
We enjoyed the layout with some interesting, challenging holes. We were told the greens had been cored some 10 days before but apparently we just missed the reduced green fee. We did not expect them to be in the shocking state they were however and feel the club should have extended the reduction. That along with very poor bunkers. Some with to much sand some rock hard. I feel £75 was a liberty. (£70 with a county card). The clubhouse is also pricey. Concluding: I’d play it again if the course conditions were much better but eat before arriving.Reviewer Rating

Excellent visit last week at the Oxfordshire. Took advantage of the £25 offer during April before prices shot upto £75 for the same time.Very little to complain about.Course was in very good condition and enjoyed by us all.The only complaint was bunkers needed a bit more sand. Will definitely return next year or later on.Reviewer Rating

Very enjoyable course - glad of the buggies
This is a very nice course, has a bit of links about it even though it's at Thame in Oxfordshire. Some long holes, lots of bunkers and lots of water. Glad we had buggies. Friendly staff (just not enough of them behind the bars). Comfortable rooms, decent breakfast. Pricey drink (but not ridiculous). Would definitely play again. As a high handicapper the course was tough, but still really enjoyable.Reviewer Rating

Society golf day
Our golf day at end of March was well priced, and the food was decent. The course was quite dry and the greens had been tired. Bar prices were very high, such as Guinness £9 a pint.Reviewer Rating
