lovely course
Just back from a 2 day / 1 night stay at the Oxfordshire - course was in great condition, hotel is good, food ok too.My only 'gripe' would be the beer selection on offer.
As an 'out of town' location you really need to have a decent selection of drinks for overnight guests, so surely you can get some decent 'ale' in the upstairs bar, even if you can't get it on draft then get a choice of some bottles of craft beer in.
You had 'old speckled hen' down stairs, a local brew, for example, but not upstairs. For a decent hotel I'd expect a choice of 5-6 craft beers in bottles, a couple of famous brands that people will like and maybe a couple of local brands that people may not have tried before.

Fantastic course in a beautiful setting
Well maintained and quite challenging course with a lot of water. Quite a few elevated tees which adds to the enjoyment of the impressive landscape and views. Great setting, and lots of wildlife: any golfers who are also ornithologists will be delighted.Reviewer Rating

Ryder Cup potential that ran out of steam
The Oxfordshire has a very unique, almost arena feel about the course. With a few quid spent on it - it could be a Ryder Cup course. However, the upkeep is wanting (the greens & fairways were not in great shape) but it does offer something for Golfers at all levels. definitely, worth a look-see.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic course - needed a bit of run to help with the length but that's not a complaint.Reviewer Rating

Just a VERY good golf course
Incredible, that you can stand on the clubhouse balcony and see the whole course! Fantastic layout, great condition, some really great holes, and not beyond the mid to long handicapper shooting a decent score. Just a VERY good golf course.Reviewer Rating
