This is the second time I have played the course and it is a decent test with a few punishing tee shots if you go wrong. Overall a good round for all abilities although the greens were a bit slow and the main negative is that there are driving range balls (white ones) all over the course which can make finding your own ball annoying on a few holes closer to where the range is! Will defo play again though.

Not far off now from being ready for summer. Now the blades have been out on the grass its looking a lot better than the other week.

The course was a bog after recent heavy rainfall. It made playing from the fair way and rough extremely difficult if not impossible at times.

superb set up, very tight course with lots of blind shots. 10th hole really makes you think!! One minor negative- lots of stray range balls end up on the 1st and 10th fairways, particularly troublesome on the 10th as the range balls tend to land in the area where your tee shot will land if you lay up with a short iron. All in all, good course and look forward to playing it again soon.

its not a bad course but when it rains you almost need wellies instead of golf shoes? some fairly difficult holes but some easy ones too so it pans out. its a bit expensive at £18.50 per 18 holes, £15 would be more reasonable?

A long course with many holes having scenic views. A challenging course whereby many of your shots are from uphill/ downhill and side hill lies. Well spaced tee positions offering a good game of golf for all abilities.

For the price this isn't a bad course, however it is seriously spoiled by 3 proper 'mickey mouse holes'. These being the 3rd, 10th and 11th all of which are far too dependant upon luck due to the shape of the land. The 1st and 10th also run at the side of the driving range, so there are always hundreds of balls to distract away from which one is actually yours. The greens are big, yet the surface is always medium to slow and far from true to line. For first time visitors to the course, there are also a few blind holes which doesn't help the speed of play. Don't bust a gut to get a game here, it's ok but it's a long way from special!
