Stand out back 9!

Course in good condition. Wet in places but greens ran well and fairways in good nick. Front 9 very open. Gets good from 7th hole onward. Back 9 has some really lovely holes. Only let down was a group of members in the bar after the round giving me a telling off for opening the door to go and sit outside. Left a sour taste. Would play again and recommend!

Amazing course and well kept

Really rate this course. Played it twice now and it’s been a pleasure both times. Seriously considering becoming a member.

Very challenging course in a lovely setting. It's a bit beyond my current game, it requires a good clean drive on most holes but there are plenty of opportunities to really play a solid short game

Nice course with well maintained greens, some very good views on the back nine, some drainage issues, but overall a fine course.

The greens are taking a ball and have a true roll. Fairways allow a ball to roll so you'll get great carry from a drive.

Excellent course and facilities which include a driving range, putting green and a grass practice area. Decent pro shop selling everything from balls to Drivers. Good food available all day. There is also a gym, swimming pool, and tennis courts.

The course is not particularly long however accuracy is vital. The rough is really tough to play out of so finding the fairway off the tee is essential.

A few of my favourite holes.

Hole 2. Par 4. Dogleg to the left. A shot towards the bunker off the tee and your inside 150 yards to the green. This green is pretty flat so the pin is there to be taken on.

Hole 3. Par 5. First of the par 5s. A good placed tee shot straight between the bunkers down the centre of the fairway and your looking at a long iron in to the green. Bunkers to the right of the green. This is definitely an hole to get in to the red.

Hole 6. Par 3. Short par 3. Do not go too far as there is a 20 foot drop at the back of this green. The ideal shot is to land short of the pin for an uphill put. A par here is a good result.

Hole 10. Par 4. Ideally your tee shot needs to be hit down the left hand side as this is a slight dog leg to the left. Bunkers surround this green so your approach in to this green needs to be accurate.

Hole 12. Par 4. For the longer hitters this green is reachable in one. The shorter hitters need to play their tee shot up towards the bunker on the left. This is a two tier green so accuracy in to this pin is vital to make par or better.

Hole 15. Par 3. This is the signature hole and one of the best par 3s I've played. The green is three quarters surrounded by water. The tee is slightly elevated. You can really attack this flag off the tee with a good wedge. Definitely an hole for a shot at a birdie.

Hole 17. Par 5. Last of the par 5s. A good drive straight down the middle to the brow of the hill and your ball will roll on about 60 yards downhill. Your second shot is over water to an elevated two tier green. Definitely an hole to be thinking about a birdie or better.

All in all this is an excellent course. The greens are really looked after and lightning fast. Will definitely be playing this course again..

Considering the recent heavy rain the course was in good condition. The weather made it hard going, but it was an enjoyable round, although the scores could have been better.

The course was in very nice condition; greens were excellent (with the exception of the fringe on the 13th) rolling fast despite the recent rain. Bunkers and fairways were in fair condition, and the rough has been left to grow. With the recent rain the rough was in some places punishing, however this added to the reward for accurate play. A very enjoyable round, and would be pleased to play here again.
