What a fantastic golf venue
Played Sweetwoods today. Lovely venue. Always a friendly welcome in the beautiful Clubhouse. Course in great condition today. Some mats for tees . Interesting course with great views and a nice varied layout. A credit to the Greenstaff today. Can highly recommend a visit.Reviewer Rating

Challenging and rewarding
On a December day, after heavy rain the day before, the course was still in fantastic condition, the greens especially were amazing. Clubohuse staff veyr helpful and friendly, great food and beer.Reviewer Rating

Fabulous
First visit, but definitely one to go back to.Hilly but worth every step. Excellent design that uses the land and blends in.
There are a lot of holes where you just say 'wow'. The two par fives that are stroke 1 & 2 are fantastic challenges that force you to make risk or reward decisions. A few blind shots over the brow of hills but all are pretty open once the drive is away. A couple of fabulous par threes thrown in too,
Course is presently in wonderful condition although the greens are on the hard side.
Unfortunately we went out not far behind a very large society so the round took just under five hours. Without that it would have been a great experience.
The pro shop welcome was warm and the clubhouse is excellent. The staff in there were very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was excellent.

fantastic course
Thia was the first time we played this course, we will play it again, the greens were like a snooker table, very fast, but in amazing condition, the course is well set out, and a very enjoyable, day was had.(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 100 Handicap: 21.9)

great course

Beautiful course
Fab course, greens in tip top condition all seasons, especially winter, played weekend, no Pro working at weekends. Third time played, new Chef/kitchen staff, excellent food now and Club House staff very helpful/ friendly. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a good all year course and good food to boot!Reviewer Rating

Love the course played with a local society for the second year, sadly food was very very disappointing for the second year running. Felt very sorry for our organisers as they are getting no where with club as to a solution to our ruined day. Would recommend playing the course but eat else where.Reviewer Rating
