Well maintained and challenging enough
Recently joined as a member. Course has been in strong condition throughout the summer despite the variable weather and hopefully that continues into winter. As a high handicapper it offers a good challenge but not unfair and you can plot your way around. Being out of position is not the harsh penalty it can be elsewhere, thankfully!Standout holes are 4, a blind shot that then drops down a valley towards a lake; 14 (crossing a stream twice and my nemesis but it is stroke index 1) and 17, playing to an elevated green over water. But almost all holes have something to offer.

Attractive and challenging course
As a beginner (36 handicap) I was a little intimidated by the water features. However if you keep your nerve they are manageable and I only landed in the water (finding a tiny stream whilst avoiding the lakes!) once. Very hilly so worth getting a buggy on a hot day. The fairways and light rough are quite wide but if you find the deep rough then forget about looking for your ball.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course but beware the pro shop ogres!!
Lovely golf course, decent test with some strategic play required- however, every time I visit this course the customer service and welcome in the pro shop is absolutely appalling- probably the worst I’ve experienced in any retail or hospitality environment- to be fair the younger pro was very good but the two older gentlemen I’ve encountered recently shouldn’t be anywhere near a customer really- shocking! Everything else is pretty good but difficult to forget how poorly you will be treated in the pro shop! Enjoy the course but do Beware!!!Reviewer Rating

Lovely course
Very attractive course, well maintained, every hole testing. Quite hilly, hazards give you a lot to think about especially on hole 14 which is a brute. Good value twilight round, loved it.(Round played: Jun 2019 - Score: 97 Handicap: 22.7)

Quality interesting course
Very nice layout with lots of character. Quite hilly so plenty of sloping lies. Greens fast. Tough enough with plenty of potential tree trouble(Round played: Apr 2019 - Score: 88 Handicap: 8.7)
