Nicely laid out, decent challenge of golf, but rarely have I thought when walking off that virtually all holes are basically just straight.

Played on a very hot day and the ground was rock hard. Greens hadn't been watered so were tough and sloping but still an excellent venue.

What a great course, challenging but fair. The staff were superb and the clubhouse was very smart and inviting (we enjoyed a cold one on the patio overlooking the 10th hole). This course is the best in Norfolk baring Hunstanton and Royal West Norfolk, great practice facilities including range, putting green (that mimics exactly the speed of the greens on the course), chipping area and nets. The green fee was excellent value for money @ £20. The greens were receptive and relatively fast but very true, the bunkers had lovely soft sand and the fairways and tee boxes were in excellent condition. I have played some top course this year including the no 49 ranked in England (Royal Ashdown Forest) and Swaffham GC far surpassed it. I dont think this course get the credit it deserves, a hidden gem. Score 79 H'cap 10

Paid a discounted rate of £20 to play on a Monday. Good value for money, as course is good challenge without being over long or reliant on hazards. Holes in the woods are very good especially 2,7 17 & 18. Some tight drives and the rough is deep in places, greens were firm but slow. Plenty of deep bunkers with good quality sand. I would recommend the course even at the normal green fee rate.
