Enjoyed the first nine holes moving well, second half very slow, but didn't spoil the enjoyment such a lovely day.

Nicely laid out, decent challenge of golf, but rarely have I thought when walking off that virtually all holes are basically just straight.

Played on a very hot day and the ground was rock hard. Greens hadn't been watered so were tough and sloping but still an excellent venue.

Paid a discounted rate of £20 to play on a Monday. Good value for money, as course is good challenge without being over long or reliant on hazards. Holes in the woods are very good especially 2,7 17 & 18. Some tight drives and the rough is deep in places, greens were firm but slow. Plenty of deep bunkers with good quality sand. I would recommend the course even at the normal green fee rate.
