Still a work in process, but being right on the coast each hole provides a challenge. A fairly easy start on hole 1, moves onto the second (still being worked on) a lay up down the fairway opens up a tough narrow green. The 3rd and 4th are 2 short but challenging par 3's, especially in blustery conditions. The 5th is a monster par 5 with a fairway that frustratingly slopes toward the adjoining stream.
Hole 6 is a more straightforward par 5 that offers an easier birdie opportunity, 7 is a nice par 4 with a high tee. 8 is a long par 3 that depending on the conditions can play from a 4 to 7 iron.
The closing hole 9 is a straightforward par 4 playing to a huge undulating green.
The course is in excellent condition, despite the on going work, the groundsmen are certainly doing a top job.

Very beginner friendly and i have started my playing here on the par 3 last year and am now on the executive and have got my handicap to a 20 the lessons are great to I always feel like i improve after them. The course are very well kept and will always test a high handicapper. I am trying to become good enough to test myself on the Heights course which i hear good reports about.

The course is a tad hilly and the greens are varied, meaning some holes are either very fast or very slow.
There are a number of waterways and the rough are very rough indeed'.
Tight lies and playing with the ball below your feet are standard and demanding.

A couple of problems
The situation of the range fence should have solved by now,also the GUR around the course from the insertion of the electric cable just seems to be going on and on, and has scared the course.. thecexclusion of the buggies is understandable but for us disabled players it causes a real problem. Challenging course but very good value
Have played here many times, course is well maintained and rounds are cheap. Fairways are quite tight but that adds to the challenge.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 102 Handicap: 27.5)

Great local course
Good variety of courses. The Heights course has matured well since a few years ago and was in good condition although the greens had recently been renovated, a tough challenging course. Staff friendly as always and relaxing clubhouse with good food and drink. Great value for moneyReviewer Rating
