Can be challenging though the first three holes on the Heights course really let the whole set up down. They are akin to playing in a car park though the greens are immaculate. Friendly and helpful folks and still one of my favourite 9 holes in the area.

Course still under going changes to extend length. When played ground very dry and cracking appearing in some areas. Played off winter tees. Challenging 9 hole. With the undulations on the fairways, plays a little like a links course.
When works complete could be a cracking 9 holer. Watch out for the par 3 Number 3.

The course is a tad hilly and the greens are varied, meaning some holes are either very fast or very slow.
There are a number of waterways and the rough are very rough indeed'.
Tight lies and playing with the ball below your feet are standard and demanding.

Friendly Golf Centre
We like using Stonelees as it has everything for the budding golfer, I am always amazed at the quality of the course considering the use it gets especially the greens. The 'Heights' course is deceptively challenging but always fun. Great bar with food and friendly staff, and an American Golf center if you want to refresh any of your Kit.Reviewer Rating

This course is challenging. looks simple as its mostly a par3. But with bunkers . streams lakes and of course trees, its quite trying. First 3 holes has water included which is always a pleasure!!! its a nice size for a novice player,
