Good testing 9 hole course, very good value for money. Food and service great with big golf shop. Worth a visit

Facilties and value for money are incredible at Stonelees, would be hard pressed to find another place with superb facilities for the money. I usually play at an England Golf training centre and the driving range and shop facilities here are far better.
When it comes to the course (I played the executive) the first 3 holes are almost identical with the course becoming far more interesting after this point. I did find that all the greens were slightly too fast meaning a missed but or most approach shots simply rolling off the green. This was the same for everyone in my group of 4. There is also a lot of water on the edges of the course so f you tend to not hit a ball straight expect to lose a fair few.
Overall superb location, greens could use some improvement.

Played the Eexctuive and its was all good enough for a beginners round of 9 holes. The first 3 holes were pretty much exactly the same par 3 design, but final 6 holes much better and varied.
