Enjoyed the day, the scenery etc, Staff were exceptional as was the food and surroundings. However, I was disappointed in the condition of a great layout. The bunkers were strewn with small stones and compacted, the greens looked as if they needed a good feed and were somewhat inconsistent with pace.For the price you would be better spending the little bit extra and visit Carnoustie, where the conditioning of all three courses are months ahead of The Dukes

Weather was poor and course a little wet in places (no surprise given the appalling winter!). Course was still well presented, plenty of bunkers in all the right places, would be a challenge for all levels of golfers. Would definitely be better played in the summer! Oh, and take a buggy, it can be a long walk between tees!
Service was exceptional. Everybody from the greenkeeper, to starter, to the guys in the shop, couldn't have been more helpful and certainly put us at ease. Phenomenal set up, great clubhouse, would even consider planning to stay for lunch after.

Very challenging test of golf, waste sand traps all over the course, greens were in excellent condition but very fast with subtle borrows, the 13th hole has amazing views over the town and bay.

The course was under wet winter conditions, but the greens remained in good order. A beautiful course with challenging holes and bunkers.

A fantastic course and had a wonderful day, we played on the Bunkered magazine voucher and for a free round of golf you cannot get any better. Some interesting holes and some of the views out across to St Andrews and the bay were spectactular. A credit to the golf course and well worth a visit.
