Great course, get the wind straight off the sea, holes are close to each other, there is a public path going across the course which I found odd, especially when a mother is pushing her pram over the fairway!

Overall condition of course was excellent, greens although very fast were true.

Surprised how good a condition the course was in compared to others I have played recently. Good friendly members and a good club house. Would play here again (but would not like to play if it is a gale!!)

Was surprised (but delighted) to find this course open, when all others seemed to be shut due to heavy rain; it obviously drains amazingly well.
People friendly and a very enjoyable course to play - would reccomend to any golfer as I am a mid-handicap, my pal is quite high, the bloke we played with went round in 74... and we all enjoyed it!

The first thing to say about this course is that it is far better than it looks on its own website. It has a variation of holes with well placed fairway and greenside bunkers on most holes. Good views of Tynemouth to the north and Sunderland to the south complete the picture. The pro, barstaff and most of the members were very friendly - just a shame about some of the seniors who teed off at 8am the day we played!

A very tidy course which I enjoyed very much. Although not a spectacular looking course most holes had interesting features to them. This coupled with the fantastic views down to Tynemouth on one side and Sunderland on the other made for a great day out.
