Good course but not at it's best
Having played Skipton a few times before was disappointed this time around, Course was a bit messy in places especially the greens which were showing signs of season wear. Still the course provides an interesting challenge with some proper card wrecking holes, fairly hilly my trolley battery was giving up the ghost by the end of the round. Hopefully they will get the greens back making this a great course to play. Clubhouse friendly with great food served.(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 80 Handicap: 6.4)

The course was in excellent condition throughout with very generous fairways for the straight hits. Unfortunately there was some united utilities work going on at the back of the course which ruined the scenery a little but otherwise as picturesque as you would expect from the area

Bring a powered trolley
Lovely setting and views despite one or two holes being close to a main road. It is hilly and physically demanding so an electric trolley is advisable. The course is undergoing a lot of work to mitigate flood dangers from the beck that runs through the course so when we played it there was a temporary hole and a fair amount of work going on. Added to this the greens had been spiked, sanded and Graden machined which was a shame. It's an interesting and challenging course which I would like to replay in a year or two when the work and redesign has settled in.Reviewer Rating
