What the club says: Silverstone Golf Club was established in 1992 and has established itself as a beautiful well maintained course.
During the last few years the course has undergone extensive improvements, resulting in a very challenging par 72 parkland course with free draining all year round greens and well built tees.
It is situated opposite the world famous Grand Prix Motor Racing Circuit on the Bucks/ Northants border close to the towns of Towcester, Brackley & Buckingham and is surrounded by woodland.

Poor
Played at Silverstone for the first time in a while. My word the greens are awful. The worst I have ever seen at a club I used to be a member of and play for the men’s team.Very patchy, still have ridges in them and sooo slooow it’s embarrassing.
Considering it’s mid June they should be in great condition but just terrible. I also play at Collingtree and their greens are superb, almost too quick!!! Silverstones are woeful by comparison.

Great course!
I had to organise a society day for a local cup game that me and some friends have been running for a few years now. I chose Silverstone as the course is always well kept and has a variety of holes. Not only was the course great, but the service and assistance I received was top notch. We all had a brilliant day and walked in after our round to watch Europe triumph in The Ryder Cup.Reviewer Rating

Brilliant value, wonderful condition.
Played this on Saturday 29th July 2023. A group of 4 old friends meet up annually in a different part of the country to play. The course was lush and the greens were wonderful , although faster than I expected. As a high handicapper the course was a little challenging , but fun none the less, despite a head wind on a lot of the back nine.
For £30 on a Saturday this was outstanding value

Average at best
The course length and challenge of mixed holes are ok but this course lacks so much. There's no undulation, it's just all flat. It gets very boring, very quick. The sand in the bunkers is like concrete. Half the tee boxes need cutting and that goes for the majority of the fairway too. 2/3 of the ball cleaners are either broken or have no water In them. It's clear to see that no investment and little pride are put into this course. disappointing. A lot more well kept courses around the area.Reviewer Rating
