What the club says: Established in 1914, Buckingham Golf Club is a traditional private members' club set in 130 acres of beautiful rolling Buckinghamshire countryside.
Our 18 hole, 6,162 yards, Par 71 Parkland Course offers a fair but challenging test to golfers of all abilities.
The course features two rivers - The Great Ouse and Dudley Brook - These rivers come into play on 9 holes of the 18 hole course. The majority of the holes are tree-lined and all but one of the greens are guarded by bunkers.
An abundance of wildlife (Kingfishers, MuntJack, Pheasants etc.) are seen frequently. The course has a large Practice Area with full-size green and bunker and also a Practice Putting Green.
The Practice Area and Practice Putting Green are only for use by members and Green Fee payers. These facilities are not open to the general public.

Well established course
Despite another wet summer's day course played really well. Uses the contours and natural waters really well making this a pleasure to play. Not sure of the ?40 price tag but if you can get a deal it's a must

Well worth a visit.

Best course around

Pleased
This course has changed my mind, played well for time of year

A quality course
A challenging course that will tax your course management. Unfortunately played in heavy rain, so didn’t play the course at its best. Nevertheless a great experience.(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 94 Handicap: 12.6)

Tricky in the pouring rain!
Long planned visit that went ahead despite pouring rain for most of the first 9

Nice course, quite challenging
Front 9 and the 18th have some steep climbs. A few hidden ditches around the course but avoidable if you can place your ball carefully.Clubhouse service could have been better, though food and drink were fine, once served.

a good course that looks easy but it isn't
A short but demanding course as I think there a no flat lies at all. The stream that runs through the course affects 6 of the holes and presents a challenge on course management. The greens are in good condition and run true if sometimes the speed is not quiet the same on all of them

A thinkers course

Every hole is different
Course was a first visit. Will definitely be visiting again.Short but very challenging as many slopes.

Lovely course with some tricky holes

(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 83 Handicap: 7.4)

What a lovely course
It is a lovely course, played with a golf society today and the course was in good condition, shame that we had a bit of drizzley rain, its not the logest of courses but you have to think on some of the holes and some of the holes look good from the elevate tee postion. Would like to play it again, hpoefully on a sunny day.(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 16.4)

Great value winter series event £25 inc food
Cracking day out for £25 inc a meal, driving range and 2 nets to warm up :-)Very warm welcome from all, coffee on arrival and the course in fine condition for December. greens in good condition and putted lovely, fairways lovely and dry. Bunkers in fine order #PlentyOfSand :-)
After comp meal a fine chilli, £40 prize for 3rd nice bonus for 37pts. back again soon. nice to meet Robbie McPherson and Phil both members.
(Round played: Dec 2017 - Score: 76 Handicap: 6.1)

Worth a go
Buckingham is course close to Buckingham town and if your in the area then it's worth playing, don't play it on a deal and not there own prices as I think they over price themselves. Got some really short par 4's and some extremely long ones, nearly as long as there par 5's.
