What the club says: 36 Championship standard holes set in the magnificent Oak Parkland that was once part of the Royal Whitllewood forest. Four separate nine holes provide a testing challenge to the golfer, from the historic 1905 course to the gently undulating grasslands of the Grand Prix course.
Red Course - Royal Whittlewood Course
Plays around the remaining copses of the ancient Royal Whittlewood Forest, home to an abundance of flora and fauna, which made the forest a favourite hunting ground of Medieval Kings.
Blue Course - Grand Prix Course
This plays over the gently undulating grassland adjacent to the world famous Silverstone Motor Racing Circuit, with interesting lake features and wildlife sanctuaries providing many testing holes.
Yellow Course - 1905 Course
Built on the Whittlebury Estate in 1905, golfers enjoy playing between the magnificent lakes and oaks in the parkland.
White Course - Wedgewood Course
The Wedgewood course has both testing par 3's and par 4's of a high standard of design and construction ideal to bring on and improve the "shot making skills" of the novice, yet offering an interesting challenge to experianced players.

Great course, nice layout
We played the yellow (1905 course) & red (Royal Whittlewood course), the greens were 100% true and in great condition. The layout was challenging for the average club player. The facility were first class from the hotel spa and the courseReviewer Rating

Lovely course
This course has matured very nicely (since I first played it) and was a pleasure to play. The fairways and greens were really good especially considering the run of hot dry weather recently. Some challenging holes too where you need to think carefully about shot selection. It wasn't busy either which was a bonusReviewer Rating

Good re-introduction to the new season
Wedgewood course is a great nine holes for getting back into the swing after the forced winter break. Can hone your short game on a well maintained course kept to the same standard as the main courses.Reviewer Rating

Whittlebury Golf at Silverstone
Great club house with huge carpark, nicely designed for great viewing and prize giving, good practice facilities and simple use. Fantastic layout of main course, other two courses are more for beginners, just buggies r expensiveReviewer Rating

Once Again
No time for a full 18 on the main course so slipped out for a quick 9 on the Par 30 Wedgewood course. As always, enjoyable, and a chance to practice my short game.Reviewer Rating

Average at best
Mature course with many interesting holes but a low standard of maintenance. Annoys me when venues like this use the term \'championship course\' to fool the less experienced into thinking it\'s something special. Scrappy inconsistent rough and fairways with a lot mud. Very average greens and bunkers. Paths and tees poorly manicured.Reviewer Rating

A Gem
I continue to enjoy the courses at this club, all four are a joy and have different challenges. In fact I am biased as I have rejoined for a sixth year.Reviewer Rating

Blue/Yellow
I played the Blue & Yellow & found them to be a very nice parkland course.Nice tree lined fairways, some ditches & water to deal with, great greens & fantastic bunkers.
Look out for the interesting par 5 4th & the dog leg 9th on the Blue Course, both great strategic challenges
Everything was in superb condition & a credit to the greens staff
TBH I wouldn't want to pay much more than the £40 for non residents that it cost's, but it's well worth a visit.
Interesting to hear the roar of engines from the nearby Silverstone Race Circuit as I went round.

Immaculate Greens
I've played this course for 14 years, and whatever the weather, the greens are immaculate. The course generally is maintained to a very good standard, but the greens compare with any that I've played.Reviewer Rating
