Average for the money
Tee'd off in the late afternoon. Range and balls were the worst i've seen. Tee boxes, greens and fairways were in reasonable condition, possibly a bit unfair for the time of year as most courses and in prep mode.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 17)

Sheer(ness) delight
An Interesting, well-kept course which provides a good test of golf. The only disappointment was that we could not get breakfast before our round, just a coffee from a machine. Having said that, we were made very welcome by both staff and members alike and will definitely be making a return visit.Reviewer Rating

Course played well excellent greens this course has been well maintained considering the lack of rain throughout the summer credit to the ground staff

Described as 'semi links' the majority of the course is built on flat land with ditches and ponds to find your wayward drives. Part of the course is on a hill which provides a break from hitting it up and down adjacent fairways, although the design and layout has been cleverly thought out so you're never too far away from hitting it into the wind.
The bunkers are well sanded, providing the nice change that wayward approaches caught in a trap are not the gamble they can be at some courses!
The members seem friendly, certainly the ones I have encountered and, although I haven't stayed long enough to sample the bar, the staff, both in the clubhouse and greenkeepers, are courteous and helpful.
All in all I'd certainly recommend a visit to the island and a round here at Sheerness.
