Autumn Round
Despite very wet weather during the previous few days, the course held up well with only a few of the bunkeres waterlogged. First time at Shaw Hill as i am considering joining next season. Really enjoyed the course layout, quite a few dog leg holes that make you think about course management and a fair few slopes to contend with. Hole 11 is a work out in itself. Shot a 90 which i thought was good for me ( handicap 19) . Will join next seasonReviewer Rating

Mr
ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEYGreen keeper stopped us playing at 2pm to switch the hole position, just as I was about to take my shot into the green.
Incredibly overpriced for the standard of course
Very poor customer service in the club shop as the golf pro insisted my dad to “hurry up” when selecting a glove to purchase

Poor Greens
Played here many times, normally enjoy the course, great layout and amazing views. Managed a game last week there for £30 a round. Normal for a course this standard. However the greens where the worst i have played on for many years, patchy, bumpy and very poor condition. I would have expected the staff to inform us as well as a discount. No reply from my emails either. POOR.Reviewer Rating

Poor greens and slow play
Played here on Sunday 25th April waited on every shot from the 4th tee (round took 4 hours and 30 minutes as a 2 ball). Greens were in very poor condition (rock hard and bald patches). Toilet facilities on course were a grotty portaloo and no refreshment available on the course. Green fee was £40 each and it wasn’t with it.Reviewer Rating

Nice course, worth playing
Second time playing Shaw Hill, friendly welcome, good bacon bap to start. Course was very wet following recent poor weather, greens had been top dressed, some on temporary. Still a good lay out, worth playing but in drier conditions. Good food afterwards.(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 83 Handicap: 5.4)

Hands down best course I have ever played. If you enjoy a challenge and can shape a ball left and right then this course is a test of those abilities. Played end of August and course was in superb conditionReviewer Rating
