very nice course, played on 19th and 20th feb 2017 with all course on winter tees (many off mats) and using mat on fairways. after a very wet period the course was quite sodden and the some areas were needing roping off to protect he course, played it using the \"your golf travel\" staying overnight which reduced the golf fees)

Course was in good condition, some challenging holes and accurate shots required at times. A tough course on the legs, buggies are available at the club house.

Course in great condition had a decent bacon sandwich and coffee before we played.
Even the rain stayed away happy days..

It rained solid for over a week before I played Shaw Hill and the condition of the course was very good. I will definitely return to this course during a dry period as I can only imagine how good it would be when dry.
Greens are lovely and consistent.
Good variety of interesting holes, long dog legs, big inclines and declines from tees to greens on a lot of holes.
Dont debate it, definitely give this course a go.

Extremely challenging course, mentally and physically, none of the greens are flat, they all have a slope on them (not saying that that's a bad thing) but some of the fairways, oh my god, it's like climbing everest but all that said, it is still a good course just prepare yourself for the hill climbs.

This course was fantastic to play on. I went round with the misses and even the guy who teed us off was very pleasant. If I had a small negative it was that the fairways had a lot of divots out of them.

Played this course on Groupon deal as seemed very reasonable. Nice welcome in well stocked pro shop. Nice set up overall although no "traditional" clubhouse, more of an hotel feel to it. Course looks impressive from the car park. Well laid out course with a few dog legs, have to plot your way around instead of getting driver out all the time. Greens true, but too many unrepaired pitch marks, a legacy of being a "corporate" type golf venue. Nice finishing hole back to club house. A good walk around although not too hilly. Quite soggy in some areas, can imagine it being very wet in winter time. The deal included a 2 course meal after which was very tasty. Would return again for sure if another deal was available.

Twighlight golf teeing off at 4pm for £19. Just got round. The course is great. Best I've played in wider Preston area.

good course some of the greens where slower than the rest so was inconstant on some of the greens
