Hilly course with a few slanted fairways which make it a bit tougher plus the small greens

Lets keep this in perspective its a ?10 for nine holes, it was never going to be Sawgrass or the Belfry. First time visit for me have to say very laid back, very welcoming a real bacon buttie and a round type venue. My scores are low because this is a course review, the reality is the course isn't in great condition. Greens are threadbare, bunkers have little sand, fairways are a little long. Still you have to accept its cheap golf and if the owners had the cash this could be fixed. Would I play again no I'd prefer to play elsewhere on a deal, would you recommend then yes its better than just hitting balls in a range and I love to see these guys succeed so more visits more investment I guess.

Lovely views but greens in awful condition. The fairways need cutting. There's limited signage and no course layout on the card meaning it's easy to play the wrong hole. I wouldn't go back unless the course is significantly improved

Disappointed! Played here earlier in the year and liked the course but played today and found little sand in any of the bunkers and all of it rock hard the same bunker under repair since last visit 3 months ago. Also the rough was very long easily a foot in some places. The course layout is good needs better maintenance

Parkland course which doesn't need big hitters. Greens very bare and bunkers hard with no sand let the place down. The food and drink at the cafe is exceptional.

A nice little 9 holer. Tough in parts. They are gradually making improvements. A bit boggy when we played but the food and friendliness in the golf club and café more than made up for it (also they did us a great discount on the fee to make up for the conditions).

The course has a new owner and he is putting a lot of work into the course,the layout has been changed,the 8th is now the first 9th is the second and then the old 1st hole is 3rd hole. Buggies are now available.
