This a very well looked after course in excellent condition.The staff are very helpfull and the pro shop is well stocked.The bar is a very relaxed and enjoyable place to enjoy a beverage with a great patio terrace to enjoy on a summers day ,over looking the 18th.

Played during a society visit on October 7th. The course was in very good condition for this time of the year. The greens were excellent and true. A good test of golf for all levels of players,some of the par 4's are suited to the longer hitters to score well. A good days golf. Overall rating very good!

The course is set in a fantastic parkland area with great approaches and hard driving avenues with trees down either side.

Probably the best views in a tranquil setting you could ever wish for. The course is challenging more suited to the longer hitters. The greens are the best I have experienced this year but beware of straying off the fairways. The course has consistent bunkers and with plenty of trees around almost feels like it has its own micro-climate
Enjoy the 15th hole with your own herd of cows for a gallery on the tee-box and a narrow and severe left to right drop on the fairway.
We were made to feel welcome and the food was good too.
Would recommend to anyone who loves a challenge.

How times change, this club used to be affiliated to the Somerset Golf Union and was the course where I won the Somerset County Scratch foursomes with my partner Barry Reeves in 1972.

A very nice parkland course with some great holes, especially the short 17th which is a severe drop hole and never easy to judge the distance, even though it is only a short iron.

The fairways were in really good condition however the greens had recently been treated. This course was busy but once we had passed the first 4 holes it had thinned out more. The atmosphere in the bar was not bad but busy. Before the game we had breakfast which is highly recommended.

Wintry day

It was the windiest day of the winter and made it extremely tricky. Course was in good condition considering time of year.
