What the club says: The Park is the perfect setting for two outstanding golf courses and is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Park stretches over 240 acres of historic parkland, which includes trees that are over 400 years old. Both courses, the Crown and the Cromwell, have their own distinctive character and are recognised as two of the finest in the south-west.

Nestling in the heart of some of the most mature and unspoilt natural parkland, the magnificent Crown Course is an easy walking course whilst presenting a challenge to all levels of player. This 6252-yard, par 69 course is rich in features, with woodlands, lakes, inviting greens and well-placed bunkers that require a 100% strategy.

The Cromwell Course is the perfect combination of old and new, bringing together the best of both worlds. This course boasts a wonderful setting, with mature trees, streams, lakes and modern, USGA-specification greens. Gently undulating fairways provide this 6246-yard, par 71 course with excitement, reward and magnificent views stretching out across the Cotswolds.

Could be better

Played the Crown as the Cromwell was under maintenance. Greens didn’t look the best but putted very well albeit too many out there not repairing their pitch marks. Main issue was the fairways which were just as long as the rough and badly in need of a cut. Decent layout and was just in need of a bit more care.

Is a good test of your golf, especially this time of year, overall not in bad condition, although some of the greens a bit ropey and signs of bird damage, a lot of the bunkers had no sand and were not all GUR

Nice layout

Played the. Cromwell many times before and enjoyed it except in bad weather because it is exposed in places.

On this occasion however we had glorious sunshine and a warm day but sadly the condition of the course was a real let down. The tees were rough, bumpy with long grass and bare patches. The grass on most of the fairways was too long, and the greens were patchy. Some had bare patches and holes in them, but they were all slow, and bumpy.

A real shame. I fought I’ll return again this year.

2 good courses which i play a fair bit, we played the Crown on this occasion, but again given the time of year it was very wet in places and some of the bunkers need some TLC , greens a bit woolly but to be expected with the weather

Shorter of the 2 courses at Tracy Park, but always enjoyable with plenty to challenge you... in pretty good condition despite the wet weather , bunkers a little hit and miss and greens a bit of a mixture ( in terms of pace) but for the time of year it was to be expected

Played the Cromwell at the weekend and was sadly disappointed.
Course layout and challenge is good with some interesting holes, better to plot your way round than just smash it.
No sand in the bunkers (not marked as GUR) and greens had been attacked by birds pecking for grubs so borderline playable.
Nothing mentioned about this in the pro shop when they fleeced me for £35.00. Will not be recommending this venue because of this.

Cromwell = Outstanding

An outstanding golf course, carved superbly into the Gloucestershire countryside.
The layout is superb, where you just have to hang on for the first 9 before getting to the more scoreable back 9. The 7th is a great hole, go for it or lay up, it's a tricky decision.
The greens are superb, true & fast, OMG are they fast.
It's a course I'd need to play 2 or 3 times to really work it out.
The hotel looks fantastic, I didn't use the facilities, but it looks fantastic.
This is a must play, especially for £15 on Golf Now.

Mr.

I've just spent 4 days at the resort, playing 5 rounds of golf, 2 on the Crown, 3 on the Cromwell. This place is phenomenal. If you are dithering about whether to go or not, just do it, you'll not regret it! This is a classy place without the feel of a stuffy hotel, and my room was in a converted barn around a small, quaint courtyard. As for the golf, these 2 courses offer very different experiences. The Crown is tough with tight fairways, and the Cromwell is more expansive, more forgiving, with large greens. Both are immaculately kept and the views on the Cromwell are to die for. Yes, the golf "clubhouse" is the only oddity, as it's a temporary structure but it's no big issue, and it serves a purpose just fine.

Three day Golf Break at Tracy Park

Really enjoyed a nice break, 12 golfers in all at Tracy Park . Price was good, rooms adequate and Golf courses were fantastic both the Crown and Cromwell courses were tip top condition and challenging. We all sorts of weather so this added to our experience. In terms of feedback, very expensive drinks and lack of a decent relaxing area. A swinning pool / spa area was put Tracy Park into another league. Highly enjoyable weekend
