Situated just a mile from the Bristol ring road, Stockwood Vale Golf Club is often described as Bristol’s best golf secret where no two holes are alike. The par 71 course offers golfers of all abilities the opportunity to play on a beautifully designed and maintained course that sweeps the golfer through the peace and tranquillity of Stockwood Vale. This course is open all year round due to its natural free drainage. The course is definitely worth a visit.

Friday golf
We play as a group on a regular basis and see good and bad set ups on all courses and I must say that this club has it right. The pro shop is really switched on and always willing to help. The bar area is also a fantastic set of people working behind the bar from the moment they start right through to the evening when we finished playing golf. This club has it right may it continue. Our group is returning this week for for a Christmas session and looking forward to it.Reviewer Rating

At 73 I didn't appreciate the Himalayan effort needed to get from tee 2 to green 5. We were at it again at 14. And, as a first timer I hadnt a clue where to hit it at 2. But these are pretty, even stunning holes. When things flattened out at 7 then I thought we had a great course and I enjoyed every inch. I'll be back but will hire one of their very reasonably priced buggies. Greens were great by the way, fast and tricky, bit great.Reviewer Rating
