What the club says: The 27 hole golf course designed by Donald Steel, Peter Alliss and Clive Clark, provides golfers with challenges that are testing, yet fair and enjoyable.
Comprising the Avon, Brunel and Severn, Woodspring Golf and Country Club has been designed as three separate nine hole courses. Each nine has its own set of characteristics. The Brunel has some testing water features that come into play. With its small raised green, the iron play has to be impeccable if you are to play under your handicap.

Woodspring
Very friendly staff, excellent choice of 3 9s of varying difficulties, different lies to practice from as course is essentially in a valley. Calm and serene backdrop. Very enjoyable and have become a regular.

Woodpsring G&C Club - Avon
The Avon course was the 9 hole option today and was nice and quiet so I got around in under 90mins without rushing. Fairways still quite damp but only 1 temporary tee required and all greens in play.

Very good value . Rather damp in the winter but very good for taking a beginner although he lost loads of balls.

Fantastic value for money golf course worth visiting
Woodsprings Golf was a great golfing experience to be had for fantastic value for money!. The Staff were very welcoming and friendly along with a nicely equipped pro shop. The course was in very good condition and the challenges of the brooks, lakes, ditches and bunkers made it a quite enjoyable experience for all!. Especially playing the Avon and Brunel Course!.

A must play if in the area
Interesting and well laid out course made for a really enjoyable round. The course was immaculate and dry despite recent heavy rain. We were able to get a 7.40 tee time on a Sunday and for only £20 it was excellent value. Friendly staff and good pace of play. Pro shop had a large selection of clothes and equipment. Will be back when next visiting the area

First time I played this course and just after lockdown. Greens were very very slow and needed a cut. Other than that the course was in good condition

Great fun even if a little hot
Played on the hottest day of the year and the round took a while as we sort out the limited shade around the course for some respite.
