A plane spotters paradise, as it's on the Gatwick take off/landing path, but that aside, what a fantastic course. A great test of your golf, and how straight you can hit the ball.

Very tight course! Rough and some of the fairway was a bit wet but the greens were amazing. The quickest I've played in the local area.

Wow, what a course! We played on 16/01/2016 after all that rain had shut most courses near and including my own one at Goodwood. Expecting a mud bath i was pleasantly surpised, fairways were cut and the greens looked extremely good but frozen solid, just a few temp tees, hats off to the greenkeepers and members for keeping it in good order (sorry we could repair our pitchmarks). I can imagine this course looks phenomenal in spring and summer. It reminds me of Augusta National to be honest but tighter. Its narrow and treelined but the ball is playable under the trees as the grass is short. There's also well placed water and bunkers to keep the fear in you. It's a proper cerebral course, make sure you buy a yardage chart and take your gps and rangefinder with you. I can only assume the genius that designed this course had an argument with his wife and was in a particularly foul mood when he put pen to paper on this one, it's such a special track. When they say you're gonna use every club in the bag, you better believe them! Arrive early and get yourself warmed up well on the range and practice being accurate with the long clubs as well as your short irons, the greens are fantastic so you're gonna putt well. Not only will you need to be accutrate off the tee in terms of left and right, you'll also need to pick the correct club from the tee to land the ball in correct place, no good pulling the big stick out on every tee here, trust me. I arrived with a cold and without hitting any balls to get warmed up thinking i was a don and lost two balls on one hole taking a 10!, chalking up a 50 for the front nine hahaha, redeemed myself, almost, with 5 over on the back nine. At over 6500 yards shes a championship length course, very narrow and holes are rarely straight but shots veering off into the trees rarely end up lost so don't be too scared, just avoid the water! Despite playing so bad and the greens being frozen which meant that it made it especially difficult, i still rate it as a great course and i can't wait to play it again when the temps rise a bit and when the sun is shining, i bet this course is just stunning. Comparing this course to your run of the mill courses is like comparing a Kia to a grand prix car, any idiot can jump in the Kia but if you keep your wits about you and always show it respect, then you'll get a more exhilerating drive from the grand prix car! 7hcap.

Course and club are excellent but round was ruined by a 2 ball ahead thinking they were pro's, but struggling to break 200. They held us up (3 ball) for the entire round and would not let us play through as they said they were playing a "leisurely round". Judging by the amount of balls they lost, they should consider crazy golf, or even walking to green and just putting, this may if they were lucky, limit ball loses to half a dozen balls each.
Rusper this is not your fault, you like every club are against slow play

Plenty of water around the course, one even had coy carp in it, very nice to see. Very well maintained fairways, greens are lightening fast. Excellent golf course.

This golf course is a fantastic test featuring tree lined holes testing nerve, but rewarding with the most excellent greens. I have played this golf course at all times of the year and cannot praise the green keeper and his team highly enough. It is always immaculately presented with complete practice facilities to prepare you for one of the most enjoyable rounds of golf you're likely to play this year...just be brave it will reward your courage!
