One of the best courses in Surrey. Perfect greens, amazing fairways and very challenging. Would play again

Facilities seem pretty basic when you arrive at the club but this is an excellent course. At £20 for the round Ruspers offers exceptional value. The first couple of holes out to the road are fairly straightforward and nothing too special, but then the course just gets better and better. The greens were in fantastic condition but very tough to read adding to the challenge.
Some really clever holes, especially on the back 9. The whole group who played had nothing but praise for the place. An exceptional golf course which is well worth a visit

Well worth the great value green fee, fairways and greens in excellent condition.
Stroke index 1 hole very tricky, stay right with your drive.
Some nice par 3's.
Think it's going to be easy after the first, forget it as it gets tighter.
Play this for £18 using Late Tee Times and you won't be disappointed.
A last mention It's in the Gatwick flight path.

This a great course, if it was nearer a large town/city with easy access and attention/money spent on it, no joking it would be one of the best courses in the country. The run from 8-14 includes some incredible holes and not for the faint hearted, and certainly will crucify anyone having a bad day... i have played this course maybe 10 times over the years and agree with some of the comments on condition when a lot of rain falls, it doesnt drain well, and also when they have a society you are in for 5hrs+ (largely because the course is so challenging for higher handicaps etc). But play it on a sunny day quiet day and i guarantee you will be impressed.

I have in the past given not the most favourable reviews. I played here on a hot weekend in pub comp. I have never in 15 years seen the course in as good nick as it is at the moment. The fairways were lush but rolling. Tees were good condition and mostly flat. greens were very good condition if a tad slow. In need of a slight cut. It is still a very good test of golf. Easy (ish ) start (1-4) Easy finish (15-18 ) the rest is bloody hard unless you keep the ball arrow straight. Watch for holes 10 & 14 very difficult. Scored 91 off 17.

Very friendly club with excellently kept course. Good food and convivial atmosphere in clubhouse. Highly recommended course to visit for a good test of your game.
