Played this course a couple of weeks ago and it was in pristine condition- according to my mate Dave the greens were as good has The Belfry yep The Belfry! It was a pleasure to play on Roundwood and we will be back very soon....

this was my best round ever on here, a lovely day and my drives were a bit to the right but my chipping was very good and my putting wasnt bad, although there are still 4 holes that are temporary and they had only just wintered the greens it played very well, i do hope to join the club as soon as i have the funds, this course i believe has an exciting future.

first time on this course, they were wintering the greens so the greens were very bumpy, an enjoable day

This my local course of which I am a member, so ill try to be impartial. Its a short course with 6 par 3s and only 1 par 5, but dont let that fool you. To score well you need to play well off the tees and have some good course management. The greens during the summer are fantastic, not many contours but are very true. The 14th par 3 is probably the signature hole playing 177yds off yellow, slightly downhill over a pond which is directly at the front of the green. The course is flat and an easy walk. The main problem of this course is when the rain falls as it gets flooded fairly easily. The green fees are good with special rates for visitors on certain days for only £10.
