Parkland course, good for all handicappers. Just needs accuracy as trees by side of fairways will take away those shots. Greens in good condition. Could do with more clearly marked distance markers on fairways and ball cleaners at tees.
Club facilities meagre but only due re-build clubhouse

A nice course making use of the contours of the River Mersey, but at the moment tees and particularly the green are in shambolic condition. The greens are sandy and obviously under repair, even paying for tee off deals at the moment it is not a good deal.

Good course adjacent to river Mersey which contributes to wet conditions. Nice round and lovely friendly people. Very enjoyable day.

Slow going Sunday afternoon

A slow fourball held up twoballs and single golfers meaning a four hour + round. Course in great condition but could do with more yardage markers rather than 150 discs, also a recommended pace of play on the scorecard would help speed things up.

Scenic parkland course

Greens in good condition. Fairways on back 9 a little rough (presume left long due winter)

Course drying out nicely. Good test for any golfer. Greens excellent. Working from temporary buildings while clubhouse is built. New clubhouse looks great. Friendly/Warm welcome from pro \'portakabin\'.. very chatty and friendly. Would recommend.

Picturesque parkland course. Fairways,greens in good condition. Still playing off some mats (not so good). New clubhouse well under way being built after fire destroyed old clubhouse. Parking can be a bit tight as a result with the building going on so allow time to park

Very well kept, easy to walk and definitely a thinking mans course. Very unforgiving tree lines for those slightly stray tee shots

Lovely course and well kept, however I would strongly suggest you play BNorthenden in the dry, as being located next to the Mersey it doesnt take water well and gets quick boggy with surface water patches quite evident.

Society Day

Had a wonderful day at Northenden - all our members commented on the quality of the greens, for mid November they were exceptional. Warm welcome on arrival for brekkie and in the bar afterwards. Very playable despite recent rain, good mix of holes and ongoing improvements making the course better and better.
