Wells golf club
Tight short course . Ok nothing that really stands out .staff was extremely welcoming,food how ever was very very disappointing. Ordered 2 friend breakfast everything was chucked in the fryer everything tasted of old oil couldn’t eat it was so poor . Sausage where hard and recooked . To be honest it has really put me off returning it was so bad .Reviewer Rating

Disappointing course. I have played this course many times over the years but unfortunately it gets worse each time. The greens are poor, I can't believe that they still have hollow tines when I assume these must have been done in the summer, they are also a lot smaller than they used to be. The bunkers are a joke with different sand in each and very little in some and the fairways and fringes around the greens are full of weeds. His is a real shame how the course has deteriated over the years, it almost seems as if they have run out of money or the head of greens is unwilling to spend any. The once pristine clubhouse is now tired with cracked tiles in the changing rooms and dirty carpets, and the bar prices are what you would expect to pay in the centre of town, £4.50 for a sandwich is way too much. In addition to this a few members we're less than helpful demanding to play through when we were being held up ourselves (I have since found out that they were committee members and ex captains so should know better) It is a real shame as his once good club seems to be going downhill fast.

Nice club with some interesting and challenging holes. There are 2 or 3 which feel like they have been chucked in without much thought. The 12th is a nice elevated tee and fun if you hit a decent drive. Overall I would recommend it

Enjoyable round of golf. Course was busy but all the members were very friendly and welcoming. Course isn't overly long with only 2 par 5's and several driveable par 4's, however it is very tight in places so you need to be accurate off the tee. Course was maintained pretty well but it was slightly tacky in places due to recent wet weather. A varied and picturesque course that I will be playing again, preferably on a quieter day.

Good Challenge
Disappointed that some of the greens and fairways were ?work in progress?with preferred lies.
Quite an up and down course - but quite challenging.
Type of course one needs to play more than once so as to learn the little
quirks.
Wonderful views as you go round the course.
