Scenic and enjoyable
Hugely enjoyable mature parkland course with a good range of holes in an interesting layout with something for everyone. Hilly with a number of raised tees and some great views of the city and scenery. Good Mix of holes with the 12th in particular a real challenge. Peaceful and very well kept. Seemed busy but pace of play was brisk, I got round in about 3 hrs 45. Great value at £20 for an afternoon weekday round. Friendly pro shop and a really good little range. Great Course
The course is in fantastic condition with superb views of the surrounding area.The greens were in particularly good condition.

Lovely well kept course and great value. Short in length but some tight fairways on some short holes make up for lack of length. Greens amongst best Ive played.

I'm not sure if the previous two reviews were visiting the same course. Very warm welcome and the course is in excellent condition for the start of the season. First time I've visited and was surprised by the variation between the top part of the course and the bottom more parkland holes. Beware of the 10th, you need a very good straight shot to hit the green on that par 3. 13th is definitely the hardest on the course, trying to avoid the 2 water hazards. Well done Wells.

Lovely course, well kept and very challenging. You will need to be a straight hitter and place your ball accurately on the fairways to leave any chance of hitting the greens in regulation due to the heavy rough and severe sloping of the fairways
