Excellent
Great condition, very long course with a lot of trees defining the fairways. Rough long and bunkers plenty of sand(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 95 Handicap: 16.5)

Well worth a visit
It was a very windy day, a long course in good condition. The greens were excellent, will be back(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 91 Handicap: 15.7)

challenging course

Worth the money
[Played on a Twilight ticket at 15 pounds and it was well worth the money. don't be fooled by it being near Manchester as its nearer to Oldham/Rochdale and has some great views when you on the higher parts of the course(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 82 Handicap: 11)

A great course worth visiting
Good price, £30 per head including a cart between two, really great course, with great greens, really enjoyed our day(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 113 Handicap: )

Challenging course well worth playing
From first appearance things look a bit dated, clubhouse etc but friendly enough welcome and a course kept in great condition makes up for that. The course is a bit up and down in parts but well worth the effort. Green in superb condition fairly quick and very true. Need to plot your way around a bit as a few blind drives and doglegs which makes this course a good challenge. Give it a go you if not played before, won't be disappointed.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 79 Handicap: 6.5)

Most enjoyable golf course , some testing par 4's ,but also has its reward holes .especially if your on your A game.great welcome from the pro and not overbooked which helps the flow of the round..3 ball 3 hours.wI'll return again..but might just get a buggy. The course although very wet was in good condition for the time of year and all the holes were on summer greens.

I found this course to be very good condition given the kind of summer we have had a real mans course. As for the club house it old but apparently a new one is on the horizon or so l am told. Members were very friendly and I enjoyed my after game pint. To answer Grahams complaint about his custard, really is that a golf review??? I will certainly be back

Played here for the first time yesterday. Nice course with some long challenging holes early on. Will definitely visit again.
