Super day in the autumn sun. Course in good condition, no sanding on greens just yet, rolled really well.

Course generally in good condition. Rough is awful though! No chance of finding your ball!!

Course was in good condition greens were patchy in places but had been dry. Services were good, lots of practice areas available beforehand. A physically tougher course, hard on the legs!

The course is very difficult if you hit off line rough quite severe undulating fairways but a good test of golf

Played in the winter and the course was in decent condition. It's a little featureless and without the inclement weather we faced it could have been quite a dull day.

A bit of a windy course, with bumpy fairway. Course not in great condition but that is understandable. Good place to go to get some cheap golf in.

Long, tough course but fair, proberly need to play it more than once to really apriciate it, but worth the effort. Friendly clubhouse and good food.

Greens in great nick considering the winter we've had. Bunkers also properly maintained. I recognise some of the comments on undulation and GUR but don't be put(t) off - a really fair golfing test. Have never been to a more welcoming club.

It's an ok course,a few tricky holes,play a lot longer than they appear on the score card.The rough is a nightmare for the beginner.There are better courses around the Newcastle Upon Tyne area.

Some good holes, and although on a moor, has some links type holes. Overall a decent test, but reasonably forgiving as long as you don't stray too far off line
