Ive played lots of courses in the North East last year and this year back in the North West. Have to say this was one of the most enjoyable rounds Ive had. Every hole different and really interesting -course is in fantastic condition - played on my own and 4 groups of members let me play through - all very friendly both on the course and in the clubhouse afterwards. Cant recommend this course highly enough - one of my absolute favourites.

Course now in great condition, greens have improved greatly now drier conditions and some growth has happened. Good time to play it.

This will probably look a biased report as I play on a regular basis at this club, but I will try to as unbiased as possible. Despite the recent weeks of wet weather the course has stood up it extremely well, keeping on normal greens throughout which are in decent nick. Although winter rules re lift and placing balls and use of mats on fairways it is still worth a visit. The summer months sees this course at its best. Good variety of holes with superb views of the East Lancashire countryside and Pendle Hill. Clubhouse and pro shop always welcoming and friendly. A joy to be a member there to be honest.

Excellent course and conditions seeing all the rain in the last few weeks.No sign of water logged,just in really good nick.
